Erin Ewer creates Fantasy and Floral images focusing on the illustration aspect of art. Erin began her interest in art early in life, but she did not draw her first fairy until the age of 12. She began painting and experimenting in watercolors through high school and eventually took her love of art to college. Graduating from the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design in April 2008 as a major in illustration, she packed her bags and moved to the east coast to start her career as a professional artist. Erin's technique uses a combination of dry on dry and wet on wet watercolors, and no pen is ever used in the creation her artwork. As an illustrator by trade, Erin uses her artwork to tell stories, and often encourages viewers to find their own meaning in her work. Her goal as an artist is to inspire the creative process in others, and evoke tales of the fantasy world inside all who experience her art.
